Question: Dear Mark, I would love to order a tub of [calcium] powder for myself and if it is possible I’d be interested to get some for family members too. Please can you let me know how to do this?
Thanks again for your help and these great products. My teeth finally have some hope after years of amalgam abuse I had 11 mercury fillings and 3 metal crowns (of different types of metal!?!) removed in July and my teeth have been even more sensitive since then. Your brush and chips are the only things I feel good using. They don’t hurt and my teeth and mouth feel lovely, fresh and clean afterwards. Thank you. ~ FM in UK
Answer: Thanks for the comments and glad to hear things are going well for the whole family.
We’ll make up a small tub of Calcium Powder you can use in place of the chips. Apply very small amount at gum line between teeth and tease under the gums just before retiring a couple times a week. It is harder to make and more costly, $20. This should last you a few months. Use it sparingly.
Removing fillings or crowns is quite dangerous too. The materials used in their place may look good but have disadvantages too:
- make teeth much more sensitive,
- wear far too easily = very fast,
- and can give off carbon monoxide and cyanide.
- They can leak easily,
- have no resistance to decay,
- and are hard to distinguish from decay.
- Crowns of metal or porcelain, etc, etc, etc. are also introducing glass and metal to the body. Even gold is not sacred either.
All dental materials are foreign to the body. It is just what do you want to subject your body to. It is more important that whatever it is, it must fit into the functional mechanism of the natural dental structures and the bite, as opposed to making you adjust to them.
One of the best things about the calcium materials is they do not have materials that are really not needed. Keep up your good health and helping your family.
