QUESTION: Lately I have been reading about K4 laser technology and was wondering if it would be effective as a treatment and cure for diastemic issues. I would appreciate any information or advice you might have on this treatment. Love your products and will continue to use them, but am still having a problem using the Calcium chips correctly. Thank you. ~ M.M. in Alabama
ANSWER: Mary – We don’t get into laser technology because the chances of killing the bad cells or infection are miniscule and it’s not needed. Also at risk is killing everything in the area, including the good cells and tissues needed for healing. It’s overkill; while the calcium materials do not kill, kill, kill. They control for long periods of time and the healthy cell take over and heal. Lasers are nice, romantic and costly. You are doing with the calcium materials a home what the lasers cannot do, and it’s safer and better.
Even when the chips become powder-like just apply them with a moist fingertip between the teeth and tease a few under the gums where they will stay in a few places. That is really giving your entire mouth a treatment and helps enormously in figuring out what is causing the problem so that can be addressed and the infection eliminated.
We’ll soon have short videos on the web site to show you these things.
