Question: Hi, my friend is impressed by your calcium products and I’m intrigued! Apparently I have cracked teeth syndrome, it’s painful. Do you think your calcium treatments would help? Obviously I mean home treatments! Thanks, Jenny, UK
Answer: Thank you and thank your friend for the comments. I have lectured in the UK, worked on patients from there, and trained dentists on line.
If a tooth is truly cracked in half or deep into the root it cannot be saved, even with root canal therapy. However it is rare to find cracked “teeth” – as in several teeth. Most teeth develop “crazed lines” in the enamel but this is not truly cracked and the vast majority do not develop problems of any kind. It is likely yours is cracked, especially if painful on one side and less so on another side of the tooth. This can be tested easily by tapping the tooth or by directing light through the tooth with small a fiber optic light.
The calcium therapy would be of little value to your situation. The Calcium Homecare Kit does help with many dental problems, more than we had imagined it would. If you have other questions, just ask.
