QUESTION: How can you treat a diastemic infection and how is it detected?
ANSWER: It is even hard for dentists to understand the Diastemic infection. It quickly became clear to us 30 years ago upon finding so many patients with dead upper central teeth, and upon calcium treatment that healthy bone fills into the large cystic area between their roots. We see over 60 cases of this every month. We don’t need to use Novocain that often.
Many times the symptoms do not become apparent until things start healing. All dentists have been taught for 60 years that there is no such evidence of infection and taught NOT to see it, so just move the teeth together without a thought that the teeth were moved by an infection. Our best indicator is the cold Freeon vitality test of the two upper centrals.
Diastemic infections are very hard to find when you are told they are not there and there are only mild, long-term symptoms that the patient has spent 20 years tolerating, “getting used to.” Here’s the rub. When these infections heal, virtually all dental problems are reduced.
The calcium kit helps control things while the real causes can be found and dealt with … The secret is to find what’s causing the recession. Using calcium chips about two times a week is terrific.
