QUESTION: I have a question I have a place on my gum that is like a pimple only way I can describe it and will not go away it gets somewhat better but it never does when I push on it it’s very sensitive. I’m confused in what to do next. This has been going in for about a month. Thank you. – Debra in NC
ANSWER: Debra, This sounds like a draining fistula from a tooth that is non-vital and infected, draining through the bone into the mouth. The tooth needs a root canal or have it extracted. A NON-surgical root canal would be the best, first and safest option.
