Question: Dr. Manhart – I saw a dentist … that gave me injections for a ‘hot tooth’ that 3 other dentists and an endodontist told me needed a root canal and instead, with these injections, he healed it. 10+ years later it is still healthy and pain free. I am now having issues with another tooth and the dentist in Reno has since passed away and I can’t get my medical records so I know he was using some kind of calcium but I’m not sure what. Do you have any suggestions or information on this? I would gladly pay a consultation fee to find out. Thank you!! – SP in NV
Answer: SP, don’t know what he used for an injection, into the tooth or outside?? Maybe not calcium. Our calcium materials are good to use inside the tooth’s root canal and outside the tooth for gum troubles. What are the symptoms of the other tooth? Do you have an x-ray of the tooth of your concern now? Send it.
