QUESTION: I have recently experienced some severe toothache and I suspect that an “old” root canal treatment I had years ago may be responsible. I also have the “old” amalgam fillings which was done in the mid to late 1970’s and am not sure whether to remove them or not. However, since i am now 50 years old and after listening to your interview with Patrick Timpone, I am interested in purchasing your products. Could you please recommend the best package/products that i should get. Thank you kindly. ~ Annabella from South Africa
ANSWER: First, you might look for the cause of pain. Have the bite checked closely. It should not be on the filling of the tooth, and with a root canal involved, not hardly any biting force on that tooth. That may help it recover, especially with the Calcium Chips of our Homecare Kit.
The silver fillings may be old but do fine. Replacing them with very toxic composite fillings is worse for you. Even gold fillings are amalgamations with toxic metals. It is the function of any filling or crown that is more important. When they all bite properly they all work well and are safe. Much of the discussion is scary to benefit us dentists.
We can send a kit to see how it helps. Anything else?
