QUESTION: I was told that I had periodontal disease and would need the scraping, etc. to get rid of it. I see improvement in only 2 months with your therapy.
- Do I need to brush with a toothbrush before the treatment. I use a waterpik first, then brush with an electric toothbrush and toothpaste. Then use your system.
- Is there a dentist in this area that you can refer me to? I am so happy that I found your system.
Thank you so much. ~ Mary in CA
ANSWER: Thanks for the comments on our calcium approach. If that diagnosis was done using x-rays and measuring gum pockets, it is very subjective, only an opinion. X-rays are quite deceiving when it comes to periodontal condition, and pocket measuring is linear, not biological information. Yes, you may need some gentle scaling if there is obvious calculus, but do not let people dig around the mouth looking for things to do. Using the calcium materials at home before you do anything will make the cleaning easier for both you and the dental office.
Keep things simple. Back off all that other with power brush, piks and pastes. Splash a little Oral-Cal in the mouth in front of the tongue and brush with the CZ Brush 3 to 5 min. twice daily. Empty the mouth and rinse the brush, not the mouth. Let the slight residue in the mouth soak into the tissues and teeth. Most of the time people brush their teeth “a long time,” about 30 seconds.
The 3 to 5 minutes cleaning, massaging, stimulating is the most important part.
We have tied many times to get USA dentists to learn the Calcium Therapy. There are none in CA. An entire generation of dentists of the USA have not been allowed to learn from specialists, organized dentistry and schools. So, we go where dentists listen and hunt for more humane therapies. We are happy you found some success with calcium materials in saving your teeth.
