QUESTION: Dr. Mark, I have a couple of questions about your products.
- Are they ok to use for children?
- I was also wondering what your thinking is on fluoride. There is so much conflicting info on it.

ANSWER: Kathi, Yes, young people can use the brush and Oral-Cal rinse as a brushing agent and nothing else, and use the Calotion for the skin.
Fluoride works only in the presence of saliva and calcium. Since calcium does almost everything fluoride does, as well as whiten the teeth in a natural way, the question is, Why do we need the fluoride? Putting it into the water system is a great, cost-effective way to prevent a lot of decay without harming anyone. Opposition to this only feeds dentists’ incomes and more misery for the public. That question needs to be answered correctly with clinical findings. My guess is we don’t need all kinds of fluoride.
We keep the Calotion handy also for our kids and grandkids when they get banged up, burned or injured.
