Hi Dr. Manhart,
I have seen you a few times and have using your products for a few years now, I believe. They have helped my gum recession and gum pockets quite a lot. I recently saw my dentist here in WY … she would recommend a wire split be put in to hold those loose teeth to more stable ones. She did make the tooth a little shorter since it was raised higher than it’s neighbors and when I grind my teeth at night it would take the brunt of that activity
Things do seem a little better now. I am wondering what you think – I will be through Omaha … and could stop by about 1:30 if you feel it necessary.
Thank you for your time – Janet in WY
We can see you … The cause of all the trouble in the lower front is coming from the infection draining on it from the upper front. We tested those two teeth and they were hardly alive. I’d like to figure out which is the most dead and do a root canal, and then see if the others, upper and lower, can recover over the next several months.
Yes, then it would help to have the lowers splinted together. This is treating only the result. Treating the upper and doing the root canal is treating the CAUSES. The exfoliating (eruption) of the lower tooth means it is likely dead, but maybe we can wait and see what the results of doing the upper root canal and calcium treatments on the infection between the upper centrals. The lower may calm down and need no more.
Kind regards,
Mark Manhart DDS
